Since 1997
The business began in 1997, after its founders spotted a gap in the market. It traded first as Celtic Security Limited and grew quickly, although the name had been chosen in haste and never quite suited the company being built. A later change of name did not feel right either.
Becoming Keywise
In 2017 we went back to the drawing board. We looked at what the business actually did day to day: keyholding, alarm response, mobile patrols, lock and unlock services, static guarding, reception security, vacant property checks and lone-worker monitoring. One thing stood out. Nearly all of it comes down to being trusted with someone else’s keys.
That is when Keywise Security Cyf was born. “Cyf” is Welsh for “Ltd”, a nod to our first language. The name says it plainly: be wise with your keys.
Who we work for
Our clients range from government bodies and local authorities to sole traders. We give a sole trader’s premises the same care as a multimillion-pound site. Whatever security service you need, we bring the same expertise and attention.
