What the work involves

Security work can involve irregular hours, day and night patrols over uneven ground and periods of working alone with telephone support. Staying calm and managing conflict matters.

Screening and vetting

Because of the nature of security work, applications are subject to five years of vetting and screening in accordance with BS 7858. This includes identity and right-to-work checks, County Court judgment and bankruptcy checks, and confirmation of five years of employment history.
